An Iowan native, Lindsey has always involved animals in her life. Whether volunteering at the zoo, grooming dogs, or caring for livestock, she has learned how to better communicate with all types of animals, not just our “house pets”! With over two decades of multi-animal handling/care experience, she has worked as a kennel tech, vet assistant, dog daycare tech, boarding manager, lead trainer/assistant manager, and private trainer. Lindsey has implemented successful training programs through group classes, private training, k9 sports, scent work, therapy dog, advanced obedience, and behavior modification. As a lifelong leaner, she continues to explore new ways to help us connect with our animals. Lindsey has been certified in Pet C.P.R. and as an A.K.C. Evaluator. She uses force-free techniques, basing her training on rewards.
